Haven't seen a post like this yet so here we go Smile

Whats the first bike and the first thing you think of when somebody mentions the word 'biking' to you?

Very Happy Lets do this lol

Me personally think of my blasting down a open country lane on a black 2005-2006 model R6 Smile

EDIT**

Also while I'm blasting down this road on my Black R6 Very Happy McGee and Groove trying there best to keep up with my leet riding... (this bits a fantasy though)

I think of a big fat American bloke with a beard, jeans and a t-shirt and no helmet on a Harley.

Not quite exactly this image (as its obviously not a Harley, and at about 5'7" he's not big, and only "cuddly" Laughing ) ... but thats what it makes me think of, my mate "The Bloke", and one of my first proper biker friends.

Always a super bike power-wheelie while making one of those stupidly noisy revs as it over-takes everything in sight for me...

He is a pretty cool dude.
I've not heard from him in YONKS.

He used to write for Iron Horse magazine (back in the day before it became The Horse Back Street Choppers), which is where I first read his stuff, and eventually "bumped into" him online, and consequently struck up a friendship.

He once took me to a Triumph Day rally which was excellent, and then carted me all around Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont showing me the sights. Somewhere in one of my old hard drives are pix of a very shy me standing in his garage beside the bikes, but I seem to have lost it in my constant hard-drive dilemmas.

That Triumph had a tail light in the shape of a cat's face, with pointy ears, it was well nice. Thumbs Up

A bikes front end lifts up from the power of the bike rather than because you are actually trying to lift the front wheel up. A good example of this can be seen at 30 seconds on the video link below:

I think of something I don't wanna be associated with.

Usually a 37 year old big guy dressed in textiles riding a boring Bandit 1200 in the rain to work and thinking he's understated and cool for doing so....
