Let us know what it's like. Not seen any reviews, althought that could be cos it's a '08....

Interesting front. Not pretty, just interesting Thumbs Up

Exhaust looks like something ripped off a car wreck like a twisted door panel or something. Absolutely hideous. I quite like the look of the light on the other hand

I think it looks good, miles better than the new Hornet. And I think that exhaust actually suits the bike, unlike the CBR1000

I like the looks of that bike alot, but like stated, alot of these bike exhausts are starting to get a bit fugly, and surely manufacturers know we buy them and rip them off for an aftermarket one?
That said they have to filter the gases, but whats wrong with the old can design, surely it worked?

Boy, they're really reaching in the looks department nowadays. I'll stick with my cruiser. You just don't find many ugly cruisers.

Fugly. Fugly, fugly, fugly.

Did I mention it was fugly?

No, that's because they come fucking ugly as standard.

It's mainly due to the Euro III/IV emissions regs. The cat heats up faster with belly pan exhausts. Wink

I like it.

And if I wasn't so set on going back to twins, I would consider it for my next bike.

Big power, nimble and lightweight, good around town, and can even do the odd trackday.

Only bummer is the lack of wind protection for longer rides.

Can't say I'm a fan of it, its like it wants to be a naked gixxer.

Add an extra 100cc and I'd hit it though..

Yep, its clearly just a big version of the 600 hornet. Interesting single sided swingarm and wheel though. Exhaust is truly foul...

Hmm I think you must have the wrong bike mate. As they haven't been any delivered to the UK yet...

Few people on the Hornet nest have pre-booked them.

I think they didn't call it the Hornet because they said it was more aggressive and therefore they didn't want to call it that...

To me its a hornet.

Now if they just finished the tail end off, that would be a nice bike. Looks like a rush job where they picked up an R6 seat out of a second hand parts bin.

If you want to know for sure, just have a look at the rear swing arm, if its single sided, its the new 1000, if its double sided, its the new 600 hornet.

For a guy who went from a Suzuki Bandit to a Honda CB1300, you're making all the steps to riding a cruiser in the future. I bet I'll see you a Kawasaki Nomad one day. Mr. Green

All I'm saying is that new Honda is ugly. Everything "under the hood" has been packed like can of sardines. You might as well be under the hood of a new car looking at it. Some engines you show off, some you don't. That one you don't.

I think it looks rather nice tbh, and whats an exhaust. We all just stick aftermarket ones on afterwards anyway. And youll notice most of the maufacturers turning to large ugly down low middle mounted pipes. I really do like those lights!

I rode it on the weekend, purely on the basis of going into a dealer for a different reason and seeing it for the first time with a WTF expression on my face. I rode it back to back with a Speed triple and a B-King.

It's a naked blade with the engine retuned for more torque instead of bhp. It wheelied everywhere and attacked every corner like it was a 250.

I dislike "pretty bikes", and like styling which grabs, or even offends people's aesthetic tastes. This ticks the boxes even though many people find it drop dead gorgeous. Bit of a marmite bike I suppose - not that I care, I buy a bike for me, not to satisfy anyone else.

I am very, very tempted.
