writing in bold wont make it fatter, especially if you do it half-arsed

Im sorry but thats just the way the CBR125 is meant to be. Playing with the swingarm and tyres is more than likely going to mess up the handling. I know this isnt what your mate is going to want to hear.

I have not seen any wider fairings for it but if there are any they will cost and most likely not fit as well as the genuine Honda ones.

On the brighter side the bike as it is (so long as the tyres arent worn) I said to go road corners like its on rails.

You could always get the CBR600 wheels and put them on,

You would need the frame and swing arm, and probably the tank and plastics with all that extra weight you would probably want the engine and brakes too...

See what I'm getting at here.

I have actually wondered if there'd be some market for sticking small engines in big bikes.
Ok, it'd probably be a terrible ride, but the sort of people that would be them would be unlikely to be bothered by that.

Riding a 125 on L plates is generally seen as a bit "uncool".

You know what's worse?

Riding a 125 and trying to make it look like a 600cc+. It' a 125. Get over it Laughing

Why do people spend so much time and effort trying to make small bikes look / sound better?! Just ride i for what it is; a small learner bike! Confused

No, whats worse is riding on a 125 that looks like a bicycle WITH L-plates! Now it's just me generalising every CBR125 rider out there, but i would be concerned if i were riding a bike with my scrotum dangling off either side of it like panniers! Laughing

Riding a 125 that looks like a 600 will get people saying - wow, what a nice bike - what size is it - when they hear it's a 125, they would be moderately surprised but amused.

Non biker pointing to a CBR125 - now didn't mummy say you were too big for fischer price toys! Shocked

Ya get ma point? Exactly the reason why i went for the XR125 instead of the CBR - i didn't want to pay my insurers extra money for my premium AND look like a gangly twat at the same point - east i looked like i had cajones AND other bikers will nod after the L's are gone - wont see that happening much to a CBR125 rider eh?

About the comet rider, I'd be thinking "whoa, more money than sense - you paid extra for a bike that's a load heavier" Confused.

You could also just take off the 125 stickers and buy the 'busa ones.
