Trade Bike Expo 2008

My mate has just got hold of a couple of tickets (one with my name on) to go to the trade bike expo this weekend.
God am I going to enjoy this.
I think my camera is going to be doing overtime. I will post some pics when I get back.
Not sure if its Sunday or Monday we're going, either way just gonna love it.
I owe him at least a drink for this

dudeskin and I are going on sunday.looks pretty cool, from what I've seen on the website.not good for the wallet though. I'm meant to be saving up for a new bike this summer and this show isnt going to help things.

any BCF'ers who are going need to make a large sign with their bcf username on it and stick it to their backs. that way we can spot each other and say hello

there was chicks at the nec bike show.although theres fewer bikes at the expo and more parts. so if chicks modelling spark plugs is what you like, then yes there may well be

I have my tickets and will be there on sunday, i hope all of you going are in the bike trade, as i hear that some form of work id will be asked for.
If you cannot prove you are bike trade related you wont get in

no, I'm saying that how can they tell the difference between a fake work ID and a real one, as alot of small businesses dont have ID

I have no work id, but i own my own bike related business (4 menbers of staff) and have done for quite a while and know the main organiser so if they decided to get funny not a problem i close my account, simple.
What i am saying is....................
I have heard that id will be asked for, work related.
Now if people get asked and dont want to play ball fine, but the idea is that it is a "TRADE" expo not a bike show.

I've got tickets and a car park pass. I even emailed them that I wasn't in the bike trade but would be interested in taking a look around. Didn't seem to bother them at all, they replied that it was no problem, enjoy yourself.
