The ever-helpful government have created this very useful website that gives you little coloured squares telling you how likely it is that your vehicle will be stolen. Rolling Eyes

Scored a 'none' on the car. Laughing

Bike data doesn't include any Hondas made after 1997 so that's a bit bollocks.

More money well spent by them upstairs then. Rolling Eyes

What a useless fucking tool that 'risk indicator' is. Confused On high risk they say you should make special efforts to secure it - then on low risk they say that even though it's low risjk you should still make special efforts to secure it Rolling Eyes No shit sherlock

I got green - lower risk. However it referred to my bike as a Triumph 901-1050 1998-2000

I assume that means 901-1050cc? Weird.

Oh well, I'm better off than most 'ped owners Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

My Saxo though,

Medium Risk (Orange blob)
Between 4 and 20 in every thousand cars on the road get stolen each year. If your car is in this middle category you need to take precautions to ensure it is not one of the unlucky ones. Read the top ten tips. Fit the right security devices. Park securely.

Well I suggest you guys in high crime areas get a cagiva - apparently no one nicks them!!:

Last couple of years:

Not enough bikes were in this group to make any theft rating meaningful. This doesn’t mean that none were stolen. Make sure you have read and understood the top ten tips, have fitted appropriate security devices and always park securely.

Previous to that:

Few Vehicles
There were no bikes recorded in this group whilst the Bike Theft Index was being produced. This doesn’t mean that no bikes are being stolen. Make sure you have read and understood the top ten tips, have fitted appropriate security devices and always park securely.
