This may sound sill to some of you, but it's left me pondering how an engine works. The NSR's got a 125cc engine. or 125ml. so in 1 revolution it has the capacity to burn 125ml of fuel. now consider the bike's running at 10k then every minuite it can use 20 litres of fuel...this isn't right! even using max throttle it's never going to use that much fuel, so what's going on?! any explenations welcome!
now consider how much fuel the firestorm would use...

125 would be how large the gas expansion would be i.e. Carbon dioxide and water. Gases are many times larger in volume compared to liquids and solids.

Hi

An engine will draw air in and mix it with petrol. The mixture is about 14 parts air to one part petrol, but that is by weight.
