Sounds like the plates are worn out
How many miles has it done? And did you check the metal plates as they could be worn as well.
A year? Some people aren't trying hard enough at the traffic lights |

Could it have had car oil put in it instead of bike oil? This can cause clutch slip - cars have dry clutches, bikes have wet clutches. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |
