today, for what seemed like the first time in weeks, the roads by me were bone dry!! and it wasnt even cold!!

was really windy earlier today, went to a friends flat for a few hours and when i came back out there was no wind, roads bone dry and not cold.

soooo much more fun in the dry when its warm.

kawakid Funny you should mention lanzarote, i might be moving out there for a year and taking my bike with me Very Happy should be fun

been dry ish for a while now, not that i care, the difference between wet and dry on knobbly tyres is fuck all compared to wet/dry road tyres, and i can still lean the bugger in like i used to Laughing

I have just had an amazing day out on my bike 130 miles on mostly dry roads in the Lakes (not including puddles).

Love my bike even more Very Happy First proper day on dry roads.

nothing wrong with rideing in the rain its enjoyable just dont expect moto GP lean angles and you will be fine bikes still work in the wet!!

But err on caution.

Probably still got bastart salt on them which garages put down in an effort to drum up business during their quite season. Mad

It's a cnut and will catch you out when you are busy enjoying yourself. Crying or Very sad

Good not to need to wash the shite off your visor every two mins though Thumbs Up

I've been a couple of times , i've hired a car, never a bike.

Roads are great. Not fast roads and you certainly don't want to come off with all that lava rock. Ouchhhhhhhhh.

I went out today, it was about 14c and dry. I was still being carefull but bloody hell it was good Thumbs Up I even managed to shrink my (admittedly huge Embarassed ) chicken strips a little
