Should i go for a ride? Laughing

Rather tempted. Been on one fun ride on my bike since i got it, rest is commuting 5 miles to work everyday.

I dont have waterproofs though, nor can i find my snood.

My ipod on the other hand should have a lenghty charge and i need time to think!

If you'd had waterproofs I'd had said yes, but there's nothing worse than getting cold and wet to put you off biking. You could always ride to the nearest bike shop and pick up some waterproofs and then go on a ride. Thumbs Up

I don't mind riding in any condition now - but usually on the pretence that I've got some decent riding gear so the wind/rain/cold doesn't become an issue.

If I was limited to just 50 miles from now until next week - well, I hear the weather's going to be a little better tomorrow than today. If however, I was in the mood for a ride, was going to ride 50 miles and then fill up again, then yeah, why not?

I'm confused Very Happy Have you actually got decent riding gear, or are you just pretending to have some? Wink Smile

Only kidding Smile

I voted against the bike ride. It'll be more enjoyable when the weather is dry.

I spent about £30 in fuel to and from my OH over the past 4 days. 3 trips in one day Laughing Rain, wind the lot but it was still fun.
Today was more challenging tho, wind was pretty rough, twice I remember almost flying off the flyover Thumbs Up

If I am toying with the idea of a ride, I force myself to go. I always end up enjoying it, and if I hadn't gone I'd have just bummed about the house getting miserable! A ride does wonders for your health Very Happy

I would have gone on the ride as well, nothing like being at one with your bike, quality time for yourself.

Get some waterproofs though, makes the ride a bit more enjoyable.
