Has it been left out in the rain?

My bike did this once. I warmed it up on choke for about 3 minutes until it revved smoothly, and then left it for a minute just ticking over. When I went to pull off I gave it a revv first (as you do) with the clutch it. The revs dropped to about 1k (it idles at about 1800).

I was going to birmingham (90 miles away) so I just had to turn the idle sped up and get going. After about 10 miles I stopped and turned the idle back down, it was fine from then on.

I put it down to water in the ht leads or something along those lines. It's not happened since, could be because I tend to keep it in the garage a lot more recently.

Please dont tell me you've been pranking this bloke Pyle, i was starting to think you was growing up a little.

Anyway, this guys asking for a bit of help, could we stop being arrogant and help him out?

I dont know the setup on these quads, but if it does have a carb, have you checked it? And its float height? Thats if it is fuel starvation, and the air filter?
Apart from that am fresh out of idea's sorry.
PM sent btw.

Of course we can, as soon as he removes that bullshit signature about being a mechanic & starts posting in reconisable English... Rolling Eyes

Help him out rather than take the piss like i've been told,
"This section is for help, not for piss taking."

Why bring up banning the idiot? No one else mentioned that at all. The only "piss take" in this thread is his use of the English language & calling himself a mechanic. He can't even get the fucking thing to run for any length of time....
Why not invite him over to work on your stuff? Rolling Eyes

Thank fuck for that Thumbs Up
Maybe if you had managed to type just ONE fucking sentance that made any goddamn sense you might have got a better reaction.

Seeing as you claim to be part of a family run "bussnies" I can only assume you have a 3 year old chav child posting your technical inquiries? Next time you should let a monkey type for you

Just a helpful hint should you decide to impress us all with your appalling lack of education any time in the future:
Spelling, sentance structure, grammar.
