... Add my new bike to my existing policy then cancel my current bike??

Im wondering because it will be about £300 cheaper doing this, but is it allowed? or possible etc.

I did it, I rang up the company and said, I have sold my old bike (125) and want to put my new bike on it (250). Paid £70 and I was insured from then onwards.

Only problem is they might try and put you on a whole new policy. You don't want to do this as you lose x-months of NCBs etc. Make sure your new bike can be added to your current policy as some policy's wont insure you for certain bikes.

i did it as well, cos me 17quid to add the zxr750 to the gs500's policy,
then a week later i removed he gs500, and the good thing about it was when my renewal come up it was actually cheaper to insure than the previous year 88quid on a foreign licence aint bad

Yes. I've gone from a NSR, Bros and NC30 all on the same policy which started back in march last year.

If its with ebike, Log in and 'change' your policy to whatever bike it is your getting and if you've passed your test etc. It will give you the quote, Remember to click 'Abandon changes' up in the right hand corner unless you are actually changing it
