Of finding out wether your on the insurance database? Just H&R are quite frankly taking the piss, asking for forms to validate my insurance.

So i just want to double check im on the database, without ringing them useless bastards.

I wouldn't worry. My bikes are both on the same insurance, yet that site claims that one of them is uninsured. It's not the place the cops use anyway, as in my latest off, one phone call ascertained that I had a licence, the bike was not stolen and was insured.

Ok, thanks for the fast reply guys Smile

Did one of those £3 HPi checks by text too. Came back all clear.

(For those that don't know, you text your reg # to 83600, costs £3 and you get two txt messages back with some details in).

This is/was my first bike, so i bought it through buyers eyes. Theres actually a fair bit of damage o her, that isn't noticable at first. Th entire insides of the upper fairing + clocks are smashed to bits. It's a miracle they even stay in place... But from the outside they look fine!

They ask for too many documents, why should i have to send them receipts for locks and stuff. They have took this months dd so, if they cancel it, i will be having strong words.

Should of stuck with NIG through Lexham for £207 instead of £197 im paying now. The £10 extra for less hassle would of been better.

data tag?.

I'd have thought with all the frankestien's monster bikes that we all ride that data tag would be useless , had a check on my NTV while doing a brake rebuild today , its got 12 unique data tag erm tags on it.

No doubt that you are saying you have them items to bring down the cost of insurance, so its only fair that they require proof that you have them.

Glad to hear it as they were by far the cheapest for my new bike. Smile

I was with H&R recently, they did alright by me, though I didn't makes any claims etc. I was impressed by their professionalism on the phone and got a great quote too.

Better to be asked a lot of questions and get it all straight now, than be refused a payout later because they didn't bother asking and there's a problem with your cover.

Makes no difference at all with the lock on or off the quote.

They were by far the cheapest for me, although they do ask for a lot of forms.

They ask for 33bhp proof too. Evil or Very Mad

Everything else they wanted I had though, it was just a pain getting it all copied.
