I like the back but the front is pretty hideous. Also the engine sounds rubbish in my opinion as it doesn't rev very high. I'd have a 996 any day of the week...

Maybe becaused they were an overpriced piece of unreliable garage ornamentation that spent more time being repaired than being ridden?

A good mate of mine got an 888 because it was the bike he'd always lusted over. He's hardly had any chance to ride it on account of it breaking down all the time. Totally disenchanted him, he's flogging it now while it's still running. It will not be started again until the next owner comes to pick it up.

a) it redlines at 10k, he kept it below 7.5k. Did hit 8k once, probably by accident.
b) it sounds like my Enfield, if it had no oil in it.
c) someone had emptied a bag of bolts into one of the cylinders at 5:50.
d) he was passed by a retro/cruiser.

Pointless video.
