Right chaps - I have a half day at work to take a buddy to heathrow.

Any one know of a really good bike shop - with a good range of 2nd hand bikes.

what part of london? do you mean near heathrow? not much around there... West London Suzuki is in Feltham (T4 side) which is probably the closest. i bought my current bike from there. Chiswick Honda is on the A4/M4/Chiswick Roundabout - its pretty big and has a large gear shop as well.

Just bought a bike from Rex Judd in West Hampstead, they have loads of bikes in stock and I test rode 3 in a row last week on a weekday with no fuss at all.

Cant park a car there though but fine for bike parking or its right opposite the tube station.

You've got Rex Judd's at west hampstead (no edgware branch anymore since they're now the training school-dad got his NRG50 from there),You have Metropolis at Vauxhall Cross, First Line Motorcycles (Honda) at Arnos Grove (which is right on the opposite side of the picadilly line from heathrow), Chiswick honda (which are pretty good - got my bike from there).

If you are bothered to end up in Vauxhall cross, metropolis has a decent selection of used bikes.
