Yeah, i just passed my test this morning. Very pleased with myself, got those nasty L plates off Razz

I got pulled over on the way home! Police were doing a random stop check at the side of the road. Seems my insurers got my registration number wrong, thy had the last digit as a "C" instead of a "G". Whoops.

Now, just to save enough £££ for a CBR600F.

Oh, and anyone got any ideas as to how much £££ i should get for my CBR125? 5000miles, FSH, Orange, Few scratches on bar ends / mirrors / exhaust, tank is a bit scuffed from my legs, no dents though.

A Dealer offered me £1300 in px, but he asked how much i wanted and i said "about £1300" and he looked in his book and said "oh! right on the button, £1300" Rolling Eyes

Well done, it's a great feeling!

I'd have thought you'd be able to get an older CBR6 for your £1300 (a local dealer had an M-reg one for £895 not that long ago), it's the insurance that will be a pain.

Thanks for the kind words Smile

I'm gonna save up for another couple of months yet, i'm looking to spend about £3k, and use the money from my 125 to pay the insurance.

Gotta see what i can do with insurance though. The policy on my 125 runs out in mid june. But i don't wanna wait that long to get a new bike... maybe i can put CBR6 on the same policy, and then knock the 125 off it?

I see your breaking your 125... Do you still have both barends, and what condition are they in? And how about mirrors? Idea

Hehe, not gonna burn em, its a selling point when i come to get rid of her. Means shes totally "learner ready" and all that shit.

I might end up keeping her until June, so as to let my insurance lapse. (Thus i get a full years NCB).

I'd really like to keep her, so my gf can have her when she gets her CBT, but i've got no where to store her. Oh well... she wanted a YBR anyways...

I'm gonna miss this bike. Crying or Very sad Gonna make sure i have a good bit of fun before i sell her for a 600.
