So after all them years wanting a motorbike i can now finnally get one
Now i need as much info as possible of everyone to recomend me what to get gear wise aswell as is it really worth getting an Aprilia rs 125cc as my 1st bike?
So as much help as possible to get me in the right direction would be great
Thanks again all I'm chuffed to bits |

Well done on getting through the CBT.
Really good fun day, first time i had been on a bike and it was really interesting. Can see it being a bit "meh" if u have been biking for a while or are just going after 2 years for a new cert
Bike depends what you want it for.
if it is just a stop gap till you get a bigger bike just get a cheap 125 to practise on
No point spending all your money on a 125, to sell it a few months later and lose half the value of it
if you are going to use it for a long time maybe spend a bit more on one to get a newer / better one for reliability
Gear seems to be along the lines of the best you can afford
Helmet, gloves, jacket, trousers and boots
Bearing in mind warmth as well, waterproof trousers for rain and to stop wind too
Balaclava for under the helmet for warmth
winter gloves and summer gloves.hands freeze in winter in summer gloves, they boil in summer with winter gloves
You can do biking on a shoe string, or you can throw as much money as you like at it. Both ways can be just as safe. You probably dont want to be riding around like the red power ranger on a 125, but that is your choice of course. ____________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
