I went for a ride to some bridges

Got the bike started, but not without trouble!

I completely forgot i turned off my fuel tap so the bike was running like a dog then died - then in a panic i almost took the tank off before realising it was the taps.

Its the first time ive been out of the confines of the Edinburgh city limits since i've been up here but then i decided to take the bike up to Queensferry to see the bridges.

Noticed a problem with the bike though as its bellowing smoke on the overrun - i could suspect piston rings or just condensation in the pipes. Only does it on the overrun though.

Smoke could be the valve guides or stem seals, if the smoke is blue.
