Newbie -

I got a silver felt tip pen from Staples for a couple of quid. It really does look cool cuz it shines, unlike white tyre paint. It stays there too, I used the bike thru winter, and frequently cleaned it, and the silver stayed on!

I was looking for tyre paint for ages. Couldn't find any for love nor money.

Eventually ordered a brochure from Buster's Acessories and saw they ahd some on the off chance. I bought 2 of em from the NEC when the bike show was on. Was gonna use em for my NSR but they already had tyre paint on, and it still looks good, I haven't had to redo it yet.

Hi Doddmaster did you get your dragster from Fast Trax in shrewsbury? They are the only italjet dealers i know of near telford Smile

I'm in shrewsbury about 20 miles away from telford.

I also did my CBT at Fast Trax last october time, There was a lad there doing a CBT with exactly the same coloured dragster as yours from telford! wasnt you by any chance?

Hey mate

Yep, Fast Trax

I remember doing my CBT with a red dragster... was that you then??

I think I was with a dragster, a suzuki ap50, and someone used the shop's ap50. Then there were 2 people doing theres on cg125s

And when we were our with Pete (I think that was his name) i left you at traffic lights and stopped and waited till i could hear him over the intercom again

My DT50 would do 60mph!!!! None of that crappy italian engineering making it read too fast on the clocks either.
I did measure the bore though one day, and it had so many rebores that it was now 60cc!!!! It also had a sports exhaust, sports downpipe and a K&N. No wonder it blew up on my CBT!!

I yeah I remember! we went to that Tesco's just round the corner but I didnt fancy any of the sarnies... we gave most of the doughnuts to Dave at the shop in the end!

I'm trying to sell my Dragster now. As you probably gathered I upgraded to a 125 cruiser to pass my bike test on.

How much did your tyre cost? mine was £60 fitted :S the bloke at the place I had it done said he had to take the whole swingarm apart the get the wheel off

R u getting a bike or a 125 scoot next??

Cya round,
Dodd

the back tyre was a pain, I paid 30 pounds for it and me and my brother fitted it our selves.

Im looking at getting a yamaha DT125 but im not certain yet as I lso love the looks of the Aprillia 125 (dont think i could afford to run it tho with all the seizures!)

Definately not getting a scooter again i cant stand the things!

Where are you going to sell your scooter? will you put it in the paper or what?

At the mo I trying to use word-of-mouth as its cheaper and I'm not in a great rush to sell it. I got 2 local landlords trying to sell it for me, in return for a cut of the price Smile Less hassle for me anyway.

One of the days I might phone Fast Trak and see if they'd have it back

how much are you asking for it?

I was speaking to the guy at fast track about a month back and he said that for a second hand, one year old dragster they could only offer between 500 and 600 because when they come to sell it they have to make a profit and pay 17.5 percent for VAT. They said its best to sell them privatly unless you are doing a trade in...

I was offered £900 part ex on a new NSR at my local bike shop... but that was a while ago. I'd probably get about £800 from a dealer. I am asking £1100 for it privately, and the landlord gets £50 if he sells it Laughing
