Walloper Laughing Thumbs Up

I took 1 picutre of what plastics i found at the crash scene thing >.>

Guy said my front fender/mudgaurd thing (sorry cant think for shit, basicly covers the front wheel lol) its totally smashed up.

Pic..

My wrist isnt broken, had Xrays done and my elbow is the most fucked thing on my body, cant move it much at all. Wrist hurts but isnt broken, Got an appointment tomorrow at the hisptial for them to check over my arm again.

Seeing as i got my arm out of my sling and can somewta use 2 hands, i can no be bothered to do a small type up. Very Happy

Basivly it happened at 5.05pm today. I was leaving work, and there a housing estate i go through to get on the small road, and then home. On entering the estate, i believe my wheel left the ground for accel. Because it was so bloody windy today, one of th guys who helped me thinks i might have got blown off. Literally. If you add these 2 factors up, it would make sense when i came off so abrubtly. He said he found me lying on my right arm (bad wrist and foooked elbow). He said my eyes were open, but took me 2-3 mins to realise where i was and "wake up". Im telling you that was the oddest/weirdest and most frightening experience in my life. I dont want it to happen again.

Ambulance arrive, but at this stage i was in and out. Police came too, took my alchy thing and contacted my dad. Policae haters can get screwed. The traffic copper called my dad and he came back from where he was ( cant remember), to meet me at the hosptital. Mum too. I can only remember a few things. There was a pretty small crowd, one lady was trying to call my mum, and the other went to his house to get me blankets. Sounds so stupid but i feel so emotional now that these guys really went out to help me, and i appreciate it so much.

I wore all my gear. I usually dont, so this is a lesson for me. Wear gear 100% of the time. I believe the bike land on me, and apparantly the left hand handble end is totally bent %90 degrees.

So im now thinking of buying a new front light set up thing, as the FMX's headlight is pig ugly. Also may be time to do a few performance upgrades. Ie exhuast.
Im still going to do a huge post tomorrow probably.. so yeh im off till then, Cheers guys and gals Thumbs Up

Right.

Now put that arm back in the sling and leave it there.

Either suspend it in the sling or prop it on a cushion above the height of your heart when you go to bed too. Works miracles at reducing the inflammation round a fracture site. The less inflammation, the easier it is to fix.

Went back into hospital this morning, and they went over my x-rays again. Thank fuckfully nothings broken. They said there is some excess fluid or something in my elbow, which causes the pain, although compared to last night its feeling alot better. Wrist isnt broken either, although its incredibly painful, so i have a splint for that, making it much less painful (still cant have a good wank though).

After the hospital i got in contact with the bike garage and they followed me and my fajger in the van. We got to the blokes garage who kept it for me, and i was dreading the moment i saw my bike. I didnt take pictures, but heres a quick list :

The rubber and light switch from the left hand guard is totally mashed up, like pushed in. The renthals are straight though. Goood.

Gear lever (foot) is totally mashed. Front fender is totally bollocks up. I picked up the peices from the roadside late last night, Crying or Very sad

Indis (again >.>) and some scratches. Mechanicly its fine.

Got the bike in the van, left him a box of Fosters in the garage (debatable, we didnt know what he liked, my dad wanted to get him Stellar Sick ) and came home.

Going to ring the garage monday to asses the damage. Basicly they will get it roadworthy for me, then ill carry on with the mods.

Moving onto mods, new aftermarket fender and light set up are first on the list. Ive been looking at the Acerbis ones, but trust me ive seen threads about it but i dont have a clue whats good or not. So could use some advice on that if i may Smile

Thanks again guys

GWS and all that Eddie. I fully understand where you're at at the moment what with me sending the poor ol' ZZR down the road 4 weeks ago and snapping my femur on a lamp post and dislocating my thumb. Typical, I hit the only solid object within half a mile. Smile

Wonderful things these femural nails, I've a shaft of metal where my bone marrow used to be thats now holding it all together Smile

Good to know you've come out of it relatively unscathed, rest up, worry about the bike later and get fighting fit.

K.
