bad news is...

that you'll have to put up with me at meetings this year instead of me missing out Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

If some of you don't know about my claim it goes like this:-

I was banned in march 2003 for totting up, 6 month ban. after about 4.5 years I decided to buy an R1 as the ban should no longer be on my license as they only stay on for 4 years. Rang carole nash and got insured on the R1 fully comp for 1200 quid. I didn't declare my ban as it had now been removed automatically from my licence. then on the 5th of November 2007 some pikey cunt stole my R1, I rang insurance and put a theft claim in... a few months later I got a letter from them.

a bad bad bad letter stating that why had I got a conviction on my license and why hadn't I told them about it... duly my heart sank.
the letter then went on to say that they also have proof that I have an MS90 on my license too, UTTER BOLLOCKS! never in my life had I ever failed to give my details! It then went on as to how many rules of the contract I had broken and that I may not get paid out at all. A letter went back to them pleading that I was innocent stating I didn't declare the ban as it was removed and stating that the MS90 was bullshit (but not in those words)

now, 4th of February I gave them a call............................................ Yes Mr Adams your letter went to the underwriters and they have agreed to pay out, WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

it's now gone to the engineers to get a reports on the value of how much it will be worth then they'll get back to me.

it's been 3 months of hell for me, kicking myself in the bollocks for not declaring the ban.

finally I can smile again.

FYI here's proof of my license for anybody. this is a new copy of it as I've just moved address.

no MS90 , and no TT99!

Excellent. Thumbs Up

And some kind of recommendation for Carol Nash for not being utter scum and using the letter of the law to screw you over. Thumbs Up

Makes me feel better about being insured with them, because otherwise they'd have not got my renewal.

Glad to hear it mate!

After getting screwed around by AXA, it's good to hear your claim is successful.

Assuming they know about the mods - if they don't, they could use them as an excuse not to pay out...
