This film should be a warning to future film makers on what not to do to cult classics.

But like most modern Hollywood films, it's all about making money rather then a good movie. What were they thinking? The movie contains nothing that made the previous ones special, nothing!
This is just a bad film, bad cast, bad dialog & a bad story & it's nominated for 2 Razzies, Alien won an Oscar!

There's a few bad ass bits in the movie & the fight scenes were OK but too dark to see anything & off course they made the Predator strong in this film so the Aliens were more of a nuisance then a threat.

yep i have to agree with you there

the story line seemed to be pathetic and had no real follow on to the first one.

but like you have mentioned, the fight seems were kinda good.

Watched it tonight at cinema. Was cool. Like above,loved it that predator was on the screen. Much preferred the first one though. Not much to complain about either. Is there def a next one,the ending was weird..Who was the bird? x

Thought it was better than the original AVP, but I did have the pleasure of watching that on pirate and could barely see anything.

Storyline was not the best, was very easily predictable, but overall I think it was ok.

The guy at the end with the Pred's gun actually killed more aliens than the Pred.

I think anyone who thought the film would be thought provoking and be based on a good story are possible brain dead. The people who thought the film was worse than the first one, I pity.

Its a shame Hollywood can never put a AVP together with the same depth of character that Alien and Aliens had. Much to the same extent I think with the Predator films. Instead of taking a risk they give the franchise to cartoon directors and use scripts seemingly written on the back of toilet paper.

TBH, the film was better than I anticipated, with the gore and shock value alongside the references to the original films being enough to raise it from 'pile of dross' to a film of novel value. Its basically gore and cool sfx. Definitely a 'leave your brain at the door' type movie.
