For a moped...

...Any proper geared 50 would probably kill it though. 65mph sounds a little optimistic for an automatic 50 too.

6.3bhp IMHO seems a bit optimistic.

And you may get 65mph on the clocks, but that won't be the correct speed, as normal standard gearing on 50cc scoots won't enable you to get that fast, apart from down a massive hill.. maybe.

But get it, it looks cool.

Well what speed would you say then if its saying 65? maybe 60?
im a bike noob so sorry if thats a noobie question.
and is that fast for a 50cc like to stop me being overtaken.?

It'd do 45-50mph tops with a lot of work and money behind it.

Just accept that a 50cc will be slow, buy a cheap one, save your money for when you are 17 and get a good 125, or better still do your test and get a big bike.

Might as well just buy a 125 and have done.....

Why waste the money on derestricting it and losing your licence if you get caught.

It costs how much....... So thats £2100 to get it running then a load more to derestrict and in 12 months time it will be worth what, less than a grand....
