Tail units for a '93 GSXR 400

Hi, does anyone know of any non-standard tail units that can be persuaded onto the arse end of a Gixxer 4?

So far, have heard of a K4 end, and also an R1 rear end.

Can anyone else suggest any more, and if possible, the difficulty level in getting that particular one on?

The sexier the better.

K4/K5 600/750 has one of the sexiest bums ever, if you can, go down this route!

K1-K3 ones also go on. Someone on 400gb I think put a K1 750 tail on.

Although the 400gb site seems to be down at the moment.

Yeah it's been down for the past 2/3 days.

Consulted some streetfighter riders and they say that due to the squareness of the frame, pretty much anything will slot on, just some are gonna take that bit more bodging than others!

Which is cool.

i used to have a ducati race tail on my old 400 back in nz,
i had to butcher the subframe a bit, but im not for keeping anything original

I was thinking along the lines of Ducati, or similarly Cagiva Mito etc but not sure this style will suit.

Gonna have to scour all the breakers when I get back home and see what's going.

Hoping to obtain the equipment for subframe butchering. Hopefully I can talk to the man with the skill and the know how to carry out the bodge but if not then I'll err... have to figure it out myself haha.

Wonder if I can put some decent angle on it.

i think someone on 400gb put a cbr600rr tail on theirs with a bit of bodging but didnt look to bad in the end, i just prefer the original tails tbh
