As u may or may not know, last week a chav in a 4x4 reversed over my bike, literally, while it was parked up.

The insurance is getting it all sorted and sent me a bike to use until i get one of my own. The chav is getting billed for this.

So i get a CG125 delivered today and go out for a ride to see what its like as i dont have loads of experience with other bikes apart from my own CLR125. I find the front is far to light, the ride hieght feels like about 6inches of the ground, and generally unpleasant to ride as im a tall bloke, about 6ft.

Can i request another bike from the hire place as i find i am unable to ride it due to the above reasons?

Cheers peeps.

Yes, you can. Whether you'll get one depends on how many 125s they've got. All they ever do is give you the first bike they see on their list that has the same engine size, without even looking at whether it's automatic or manual, or the physical size.

Call the bike hire company or your insurance company and explain that the bike is too small for you. FWIW, I spent eight hours on a CG125 and thought it was too small, and I'm 5'3"...

Only 6ft? Your short. Razz

Stop trying to ride it with your balls on the tank

One of the great things qabout the CG is alnost any bodytype can ride it, you just need to adjust your seat position.

I found sitting about halfway back was most comfortable for me.

By the way. My old CG? Had one of those Mitsubishi off road things reverse up onto its mudguard. Scraped the paint and everything. Thumbs Up

A friend of mine had an intruder - I'd need a winch to get down to the seat!
