bout time i contributed some valuable advice i think so here goes

DONT
EVER
BUY
APRILIA
COS
THEY
SUCK

at your own risk, spend 2 grand on a 50cc moped, supposedly the best in its class, from a company called aprilia, better still, avoid mopeds cos they suck

and the evening was goin so well.....i should have guessed it wouldnt last, an weekend evening with no problems doesnt exist

saw star wars, had a nice meal, got home, 20 mins later im on my way to the bridge, all good

10 miles down the road, "vrooom vroomm COUGH SPLUTTER CHUG CHUG..................." no electrics, no power, no engine, no nothing

GARGH!!! WHYY!!!!!

30 mins later after about 60 squillion attempts to start the damn thing, and 6 frantically rushed fags, it started

WOOHOOO!

im stuck on the A41 with a moped which is dying and has no lights and no indicators, 10 miles from home in the dark, hmmmm

its probably just me, but i dont think its acceptable to spend your entire bank account on a bike only to have it fuck up 6 months later

40 mins later, i get home, after being flashed by every single car coming passed in both direction "YES" i nod "I KNOW MY LIGHTS ARE OFF BUT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT" i growl

so say hello to one majorly hacked off goose

Shit, I was wondering why you didn't turn up - luckily it wasn't the Chelsea Bridge Curse (woohoo, no crashes tonight). I got most of the night on video so you've not missed much.

Yea i know the feelin totaly..... I like(d) the the SR cos its sheap on fuel but realiability is a totaly different issue.
let me see, clutch rolls were flat in 6000kms (n i only weigh 9 stone).
passed me 4000km service. at 8000kms (4 months later) i still havnt got the log book from aprilia and guess what, me engine fucks up. what could it be???
three weeks later with as little help from aprilia as possible the mechanic finds that the O rings have gone rotton and dissapeard (suprise). got it back and a week later the fuel hose split leving me pushing for several miles stinkin of petrol. oh and clutch rolls bin in 5000kms n are starting to pack in...... quality or what!
