Is it sand coloured? If so it could be one used by the SAS in the first gulf war.

My dad has a KTM Enduro 350 that the MOD were getting rid of that the SAS used in the first gulf war, they had 20 odd KTM's and a load of Hondas. Make sure you find some documentation regarding it's previous military registration. You should be able to track it down to a unit it was with with the proper MOD papers. Dad managed to find the original shop who supplied the KTM's to the SAS with all of the frame numbers/engine numbers still on their ledger!

How much are you getting it for? They should be fairly cheapish by now. Any pics?

brilliant bikes, ive had 4 or 5 over the years. they are bullet proof.
well worth 650 i woundn't hessitate for a second in getting another one... or 2 Very Happy
the only thing i found was the exhaust is quite restrictive,
where it meets the head the internal weld is normally over done and chokes the bike a bit,
nothing a dremmel can't fix.

I know this may sound very strange, but is it a diesel?

I thought that MOD bikes were diesel so they only had to take one fuel type into theatre. Perhaps that is just theatre bikes however.

not yet from what l,ve heard but when they do it will probley be the klr650 diesel, most ex army bikes are xr250,s look for a mod vin plate pop riverted to the swing arm you should be able to track the bike from that also there should be pillion peg mounting points on the swing arm which you dont get on the civie one.
