This may strike you as the most mundane post in the world, or you might find it interesting…..errr….I’m bored on a Monday, I’m getting some work after lunch today. I think this may prove that absolutely anything and everything is talked about on the net. Laughing

I was thinking this morning about where I keep things about my person on a daily basis, i.e. pockets.

I can’t actually feel comfortable if things aren’t in this kind of order when leaving the house.

Jeans/trousers
Jeans front right pocket, mobile phone. And that’s it, nothing else in there, ever. I might scratch it, or if it’s not there I might have put it down somewhere and forget it.
Jeans front left pocket. Door/garage keys, lighter. No fags there, just the lighter, a fag packet would bulk it out too much.
Jeans rear right hand pocket, Money.

Fleece/hoodie
Left pocket, USB stick and fags
Right pocket, spare, for anything I acquire in the day. (Omg, this is so sad) Laughing

Bike jacket
Left pocket, wallet
Right pocket, Bike key, just that on its own.
Inside left pocket, headphones (for music and answering calls while riding)

Rucksack
Lyric book & pen
Bills & paper work to sort.
Sudafed Ultra max (some form of legal ecstasy I think)
Flyers (if any)

Probably if I went to see someone about this they’d prescribe me on something.
So do any of you have some rules of order when going out?

Thanks for your time Razz

Killa

got similar habits myself.

jeans left pocket is phone only.
right pocket is loose change only.
rear right is wallet only.
rear left is empty.

when im at work i wear a fleece.
left pocket is a deck of cards and my fob for getting in and out of the building, right pocket for general things used throughout the day

its the same with my bike gear too.

The pickpocket's dream thread Laughing

For me, it's phone in right hand pocket, wallet in arse pocket (in my jeans, that isn't what I call my buttocks...) and keys in left pocket.

I am surprised at the amount of people that keep money and wallets in the back pocket of jeans, it has to be the easiest place for it be stolen from, it don't even have to be taken gently, just a quick grab and run, before you have turned round and worked out what happened a nimble little smack head that resembles an Ethiopian would be well away.

Shocking.

Why mine is kept in my front pocket, where they'd have to pretty much grope me before they get their grubby mits on it!

Jean pockets, nothing. Bike jacket- inhaler and purse. And mobile phone if i remember to lift it. My purse is always on the inside of my jacket to keep it safe, reason nothing is in trousers in case it falls out.

Wow my pockets are interesting arnt they Laughing

Fags,
Phone,
Wallet,
Lighter,
Keys.

I even say this to myself on the way out of the door. Embarassed

Im pretty much the same as Mike, except one or 2 things in opposite sides.

Also wallet in coat, never in back pockets. Too much important stuff in there. And I don't use a rucksack, unless it's got my bike gear in when I'm not using it.

Jeans:

Front right: Phone.

Front left: key's and change.

Back right: wallet.

Jacket:

Used to use the inside pocket for weed and papers Drooling Now I just stick my phone in there.

Occasionally a holster attached to the inside of my jeans/shoulder rig depending where I am going on the bike I'm gangsta yo. Mr. Green

Also have a routine that I have to tap my front right pocket then my left then my ass pocket with my wallet every so often to check its all still there.

And when I get in the car every thing comes out of the pockets. wallet stays in the ass pocket occasionally, phone goes some where on/in the dash, usually under the radio and change if I have any gets stuck in the bit near the gear lever had a total of 18 quid at one point just sat there Laughing. Any paper work just gets thrown on the back seat.

If I have any weed out of paranoia it goes in the glove box in stash tin.

For the bike it all comes out and goes under seat in a water proof bag.

On the bike i can't go anywhere without my rucksack, feels odd without it.
A box of fuses, tyre weld, documents & a few tools.

Bank card & license in rear right pocket.
Change & keys in front right pocket (back if driving) notes in the right rear.
Phone goes in either.

I don't think i've ever used the rear left pocket in a pair of jeans!

Speaking as a trendy fucker I like to remove the material used for rear pockets on jeans so that all that remains are two dark blues squares which accentuates each individual butt cheek Thumbs Up

I am the same as McGee.

Front right, mobile, maybe my USB key
Front left, keys, loose change
Back right - Wallet
Back Left nothing.

Feels un-natural if I am missing any of these items. I even have a mini panic. Embarassed

Oh and I can't go without my watch on my left wrist as well.

You are supposed to wear your watch on the wrist opposite to your writing hand. I'm right handed so wear a watch on my left. Razz
