Definatley faster, better handling than a cb500... couldn't comment on the finish though.

When the bandit first came out all the press raved about it :
'Almost the power and performance of a sports bike, with the cost and comfort and cost of commuting bike'... now a days it tend to get slated a bit, merely because the competitions got a lot better, rather than the Bandit's got worse.

I'd definatley go for a bandit over the CB... only insurance group 10 and you can ride it sedatley if you want, but you should also be able to push it alot more than a cb500 if you feel the need Smile .

Bandit! BUT, if u r interested in a bandit then i'd go for a 600 hornet!
much better handling, faster, better top end, +lighter. they r slightly more than the bandit though.

you cant really compare performance of a 500 to a 600. But i say get a bandit . A mate has one in maroon and it looks and sounds great. It must be real easy to ride aswell cos he has one artificial leg and he still thrashes it everywhere. The cb 500 though looks real good with the front fairing job. Otherwise its a pretty plain machine.
