Well as a few of you posted in the 'Advise/opinion on this 125' post
Finally She has found one. Right by me, so I can veiw, we have agreed on a price and can collect (If I think everything is in order) On Thursday.
I had trouble finding a 125, but I didnt relise how bloody stressfull it was for someone else.
2003 NSR 125, 11k Miles - 2 owners, last one since 2006 riden in dry weather
£1000
I for once cannot wait to ride a 125 again
Thing is, I need to teach her how to use gears
Should be good - but still, I think a bargain for 2008!!! |

Well my SV650 might sell on Sat, bit of a breather but im searching for an R6......... So im looking for myself and the odd 125 for her.
Im truely sick of seeing bikes for sale
I had trouble with HSBC last time getting the 1k out for the bandit, they only allowed me £900 - No so bad, but WTF its my money
So I said place it in my natwest, at least tommorow (Wed) I can ring in advance and let them know Ill be taking it out.
Again, I think Bargain provided no type of re-build. |

well my budget myself is 2k - my OH has siad she will lend me 500, so 2.5k.
From what ive seen on fleebay, 2k-2.5 can land me a 1999-2000 reg R6
I so want one, I love them - but - ive seen a 03 ZX6R for 3K, its just getting that extra 500....... they are the only two bikes I really would like to ride.
Its a shame, Im really fussy on the look of lights
Since I had 'low carbs' from a previous bike put it, the SV is like the clappers - But im bored of the SV now |

You're fussy on lights but like the 03 ZX6R? . Very good bike though...
That model of R6 is fairly easy to come by for that sort of price. Should give you plenty of choice. The only major problem I know with them is that they sometimes jump out of 2nd gear when revved hard. If you can get a test ride then definitely check this as it's an expensive fix (£400-500). ____________________ :: Honda XR 125 L ('53) => Kawasaki GPZ 500S ('02) => Suzuki SV650S ('00) => Aprilia RSV-R ('51) :: |
