What the fuck?!
Ok.. My permanent home is on a street that leads into Halifax Town Centre, so therefore just a 5 minute walk from the centre. It used to be old homes for the factory owners (I guess) and they are quite big houses and all the fronts have trees and a nice greenery that make the street look quite nice.

Now some Asians (or should I say muslim Pakistanis) are moving in. Firstly some came in the corner house and you know the first thing they do? Cut down ALL the trees and bushes and put down pink flagstones. WHAT THE FUCK?! It looks like a right shithole now.
Then they have the audacity to cut down the tree that is on the pavement outside their home! i.e. council property that isn't even theirs.

Now another set have just moved in across the street and guess what. I got a phone call from my mum that they have just chopped down the trees and bushes. Now I know why some districts in Bradford are void of any greenery!

Apparently its 'cultural' for them to get rid of all the trees, then put fake little trees in the window or something. Before long my whole street will be void of any trees because some fucking Pakistanis feel that they don't want them.

Is this for real? Is it true that they go and just get rid of any greenery because it certainly seems that way?!

Even though it sounds a bit sad, how long till the whole area (renowned for being a pleasant, green area) becomes some concrete eyesore. You know the worst thing.. these changes cannot exactly be reversed. The gardens have pretty much been obliterated, but these gardens lead right to the street with no walls, so its effectively seen by everyone as they are part of the streets. So if they get covered in concrete then the whole area will just look concretey and crap.

I,ve been a landscaper for over 20 years, they have broken the law if the do,nt have a permit and is finable for each and every tree without.
They also may need planning permission for any patios etc(depending how shite your council is) So, no planning. Rip it up!!
I,m so f*cking glad I,ve not had to deal with those c@nts for the last 6 years!!!

If they protest, tell them to get fucked. Any more and plant some seeds where the trees were in the middle of the night.

I hate it when they come here or are even born here and change our culture to suit them at our way of life's expense. We don't go to their country and convert their land and laws to suit us. Maybe we should, maybe it would improve it. It must be so crap they need convert our country.

Buy a big bag of English wild meadow flower seeds that will grow virtually anywhere. As you walk past at night throw them onto their flagstones. The seeds will drop down into the cracks between the flags and any other available soil and dirt. You'll then have lovely flowers growing all over their frontages all through the spring/summer.

Seriously if you feel strongly enough write to your local authority/council to say how upset you are by their actions and that you are concerned that not all relevant permits were obtained especially with respect to any mature trees which were cut down. I know it probably won't make any difference in the short term but in the long term if no one speaks up people think they can do whatever they like.

I hate it when I walk past houses where the gardens/borders have been ripped up just to make extra parking spaces. It makes a street very bland and uninteresting.
