reason i ask is coz gsxr 1000 yokes are hard to come by but theres a few busa ones on flee bay at the mo.

no the gsxr forks are 50 mm at the yokes, sv are 45, the wheel spindle fits and the wheel fits, im gett 320 disc's, and keeping the sv's 4 pot callipers for now. the front fairing is staying on (for now)

so i was thinking busa bottom yoke, probly and off an 01 model, and i may bore out my lsl high bar yokes to 50 mm, as im thinking of sticking my high bars back on.

the busa, gsxr and sv bottom yokes have the steering damager lug on so thats ok

im gonna go to my local dealer with a calliper and measure the busa's forks lol

speedo is driven off the front sprocket so theres nothing to fret over, i have the gsxr clip ons, but im gonna go with the handle bars with a lsl top yoke instead of the standered.

Why? you'll get improved feel and response through the better quality forks.

im not saying dont do it, its your bike, do what makes you happy, but to me it seems like buying and sv650, butting a sv1000 engine in and then restricting it.

post pics when youve done it.

loads of people have done it on there, looks stunning when its done. Thumbs Up good luck with it all.

not doing it just to put high bars on lol

im doing it coz the front end of the sv is its big let down far to bouncy, the new forks will let me fit bigger brakes, make the bike handle better and will look better as well Smile

i was gonna go with the gsxr clip ons but the sv clip ons are giving my shoulder gip at the moment so the gsxr ones would be worse, hence putting high bars on it.

and yea ill put pics up once im done Thumbs Up
