There seems to be lots of interest for the BCF jump. With summer round the corner I reckon something needs to be organised.
I know with anything like this its never going to be a right date or location for everyone. I think if this is something you want to do as a group you make time for it, book time off work or whatever.
So I need to know when is best for the majority.
The aim of this thread is to get an idea of names and dates.
I know there are some who want to do AFF but I think a tandem to start with then if there is interest for AFF we could arrange that some time later.
I propose a jump then a monster piss up (Dont fancy jumping with a hangover!)
With that I would like to know:
Your name and anyone you know who wants to do it.
When you CANT do it. e.g. Youre on holiday between the 4th-10th June.
Where abouts you'd like to do it.
I'll put together a spreadsheet of names and dates and work something out.
I'd like to know all this by May 12th.
Names: Me and my gf Holly
Dates: I cant do 1st-10th June and every other weekend starting 16th June. Any other date is fine.
Location: Any

I was ment to do a tamdem dive for the NSPCC which would of course cost more (peoples donations) for me to jump free - £395 Min.
For a solo your looking between £170+ But you need to find them skydive schools.
For 5 - 9 People your looking at £165 PP to jump.
I would say is get a trusted member off here to pass the money through - Then book it as a whole, then you know you have the correct numbers. Rather then book for 'X' amount of people then 3 dont turn up.
I thought AFF jumps were progressive lessons and not singular tamdem jumps!?
Im well up for this, but of course I need dates. I can book them off at short notice if cover is provided. But need them soon.
And I agree with Yoko - Big piss up afterwards
The more the cheaper so Ive heard
Putting myself in the deep end - But I would be the soul organizer (to get it cheaper) for us all.

I spoke about it tonight - My (female) boss did this in the US (She is American)
Not seen the video yet due to me being off but by sounds of it, its good.
So - time for this subject to be brought up.
I really cant find an info pack on the amount - But I do remember its around £140-£160 IIRC for each jump.
Anyone up fir this or not? PM me for details so I can look to see if I can get a discount.
The more the cheaper so Ive heard
-But someone has to collect money(to get it cheaper) for us all.
If not Scott awnna do this ?
Two airfields - Salisbury & Maidstone which Sailsbury is cheaper £245 |

I'd be tempted if you can get the price down a fair bit... Did it in Cairns (Oz) 12,000 feet for $195 Ozzie, and have been wanting to do it again since.

You will never regret parachuting and you will never stop talking about it....I had a full year parachuting at Langar in Nottingham....even got into folding and packing chutes....we started of with C9LLs (static line, rounds) which are not used now and then progressed to squares freefalling..... ____________________ ...its what you make of it...

Have you tried the BPA site......... https://www.bpa.org.uk/ .....anything to do with parachuting, earoplanes etc this country is second to none when it comes to professional training and safety ( unlike the USA fast track risky methods) ask me.........you will be well trained and looked after if going solo or tandem.......I'm sure you will get a discount if theres enough of you, just ask..... ____________________ ...its what you make of it...

It's funny, I never thought this would take off last year(no pun intended) but i've looked into it over the last week and as I've done abseiling etc... I want to do this as soon as.
I've seen a co. in Bridlington that I can get a single tandem jump @ £240, but that's single and I reckon it would be more entertaining as a group. Also gives reason for another piss up after words.
At this stage I'm just looking/fact finding as I will be doing it maybe later this year, and definitely this year but if there's a big enough interest it might work in favour....... ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies.
