Puma Desmo boots

I'm going to get a pair of Puma Desmo boots but am searching for the best price. Anyone know anywhere that does these, I'm after a size 7. Mail order or within the Sout-East if possible.

P.S. If anyone has any experience of these and can let me know what theyre like day to day then that would be cool too, cheers.

Can get them for £160 in quite a number of places. Maybe not the 08 model but certainly the 07 model that offers the same protection.

i would look at Sidi Vertigo, great boots with adjustable shin guard and good protection at your heel as well as being comfy.

Think they're only about 30 quid more expensive than the Pumas..

Was gonna get the Gaerne cheap through work but they didnt have my size so now waiting until I return to the UK (soon).

I'm not gonna buy another pair of Sidi's for the forseeable future.

Think of how many years and how much R&D Sidi and Alpinestars have been putting into making motorcycle boots and your now going to pay over the odds for a pair from a company known for making trainers!!! in a few more years maybe.

Yeah, that is what a lot of people thought when they were announced, but the fact is they are no worse than other boots of a similar price range.

Infact they are pretty well-evolved, so don't slag them off simply because of the Puma brandname.[/quote]
