Back on the bike again

Well today was my first ride on my bike for nearly three months. Not because I didn't want to ride it, but because its been laid up with a misfiring problem, which has only just been fixed (trawl the workshop thread if you can be arsed).

But what a feeling! I had forgotten the power and fun of cornering (even on greasy roads), fooking amazing. I must say I was getting a little disenchanted by bikes, what with not being able to enjoy it, and not getting the fucker fixed, but one ride makes it all worthwhile.

Now all I have to do today is ride the 300 miles to Newcastle, which should be fun, then hand it over to my mate, who is buying it from me since I can't take it to Oz.

On the upside, another mate is lending me his K2 600 for my last couple of months while he does some more time in Iraq, can't wait to get a go on that puppy

Just thought I'd share - even when it all seems to have gone to shit the truth remains that biking is top fucking drawer shit.
