Playing around with the air box, looking for a leak somewhere, found this hole at the bottom of the air box that doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Should this be connected to something? There's nothing there atm...

(oh and thanks again for answering another really obvious question - it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that there are such helpful people out there...)

Might be helpful to mention what bike the airbox is off Wink But I'd say no, if the hole vents to atmosphere youd be drawing unfiltered air into the engine. Sorry I can't be of more help Embarassed

Sorry - it's off a Suzuki RG 125 and it's not flush - there's about half an inch of plastic piping on the other side that looks like it should be connected to something, but I'm buggered if I know what (and the owner's manual is surprisingly unhelpful on the topic!)

I'll try and post a more obvious (and helpful!) pic in the morning.

sorta looks like a breather pipe...only obviously it isn't if it's inside your air filter.

Drainage hole or crank case breather. Have a look around for other things that look like they should have a pipe on.
