is there anyway to stop your eyes from watering :S

I know this is a bit of a stupid question and i expect i know the answer

But i have been doing thai boxing for a while and when ever i get caught in the face, partially on the nose my eye just water. Now the punches don't need to be more than a jab to set it off. I've seen other people take alot hard punches to the face and it not bother them.

So is there anything i can do or is it just one of them things (which i think it is going to be)

Wear a welding mask. It should stop your eyes watering, but if it doesn't no one will notice.

Blinking sorts out eyes watering usually, it because you are concentrating for too long on something. Your bodys natural way of not letting them dry out.

I remember once in High School I got into a confrontation with some thug and was headbutted on the bridge of my nose, hurt a bit but not enough to cause me to appear hurt yet made my eyes water a while after, not immediately, don't know why just one of those relfex type things no doubt.
