Nice to see Jt so high up on the list. I just hope he can get similar results when the races start. Very surprised at Haydens time. Almost a full second up? And more importantly, over TWO seconds up on his "team mate". One of the honda mechanics get the bikes mixed up or something?

JT was running second and then third for a good chunk of the day. It was only near the end he dropped down to fifth. Very impressive!

Conversely, Hayden was quite low down and moved up at the end - although he did a huge number of laps (107!).

Pedrosa, I imagine, is still feeling the effect of the broken hand he suffered in the last test.

Tomorrow (today?) should be really interesting... 40 minute shoot-out - winner takes a BMW Z4. Makes things a bit more interesting and should be the most telling clue for what the season holds so far.

It's on British Eurosport, live at 1pm.

Who won the bmw last year? I seem to remember Edwards being fastest, but was that the year before?

I can't remember to be honest. I know Rossi's had it at least once.

That was ominous. Stoner posts the fastest lap quickly and no-one gets anywhere near it...

Found it... Very Happy It's been run for five years and Rossi won it last year. He's won it twice, and the others were won by Edwards, Gibernau and Capirossi.

Pretty sure Rossi won it last year, first thing he did was stand on the roof.

Nice to see JT so high.

Can't wait for motoGP to start again!

Yep, it was wet - but the track was drying which made it tricky and there was a dry line in some sections but not others. The final session was red flagged due to high winds.

Did anyone notice Haydens kneesliders? Whats that all about then? It looked like he had a carton of yogurt stuck to each knee.

No, were they big? Riders sometimes have two sets on so that they touch down earlier in the wet.

stoners still setting the benchmark, i mean im a bit of a rossi fan an i hope he wins this yr but you have to take your hat off to the sheer pace of Casey atm, i mean sum riders are quick, but they dont look quick on the bike, stoner on the other hand looks like youve slept with his new wife an butchered his dog!! but still remains consistanly quicker than anyone.....

Its weird how nobody else seems to be able to get on with the Ducati again apart from Stoner.
Melandri and Elias are a couple of my favorite riders so I hope things improve when the season starts.
Elias is nearly 8 seconds a lap slower then Stoner in those last times! thats going to take more the a few tweaks to the set up to sort out surely.

Hmmm what happened there then Very Happy.

Well played JT, just behind Rossi and infront of Stoner Very Happy

Nice to see Hayden up top, as much as I hate his accident, but you've got to feel sorry for him, with a season like last years.
