tried bump starting it?
its a 125cc 2 stroke, it probably takes the same amount of effort as pressing the button Very Happy

hi,
its always been a bit of a pain to bump start.
besides cant be doing with the hassle of bumping it everyday - im using it for the daily commute.
im too old & unfit for running/pushing it every day!
took the starter off & its definately knackered.
cheers,
GAZ

surely bumping it is easier than catching the bus. just do the the waddle along the road in 2nd with no revs and choke on never fails and takes little effort i did this for about 2 months when the battery was knackered;)

you sure its gone? when you press the starter button does the solenoid make a clicking noise?

I mean, why not dismantle it and have a look, maybe it just needs rebuilding (new springs, gasket, o ring and brushes)

hi,
got starter off.
took it apart but plastic ring thing disintegrated in my hands.
spellframe reckon they might be able to refurb. it but not holding out much hope.
looking at either cheap second hand ones or just paying the 80 quid for a new one,
but cards are maxed out, so will have to wait til end of month!
bus till then.
cheers,
GAZ
