I am bidding on these but sort of turned off now as I see a lot of neutral and negatives about items not being genuine and postage added on after sale again.

I don't want and cant retract bid but nor do I want a fake pair (these are for the OH) I tried a google search and cant find a pair that look like this so are they fake does anyone know?
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200198823600&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching

Cause I dont want to pay if I win bidding and they arnt the real thing. It says Genuine on that page also.
Thought I would ask you lot.

Thumbs Up

No offence, but are you blind?

That looks like the fakest pair of trainers I have ever seen.

The Nike swoosh looks completely retarded. Laughing

Just email him saying you think they're fake now and won't pay.

Worst comes to worse he gives you negative feedback?

Well a dishonourable thing on ebay is to setup another account outbid yourself on it, and abandon that account that account gets a neg, preserving your profile.

but then I say dishonourable , but then has there ever been honour amongst theives?

I loathe ebay currently , the CBR would have cost £100 ish to repair if it went as it is supposed to go.

Yeah But thought they maybe fake as they dont same to have the same design ones anywhere. Plus they are really cheap. I dont know what to do here its near ended and I dont want a nasty surprise add on postage like other buyers. Thought 99.3% feedback was good enough until I looked today. I have said to seller I will hold payment until he answers if I win the bid.

I've a pair of Airmax & looking at them now i see that the ones on ebay have different stitching pattern near the 2nd air bubble so i'd say they're fake. The 3rd stitching lines goes right across, the ebay one drops down.

Be interesting to see what the seller, will let you know when he pm's me back as I am not paying for them if they are fake. Hardly like he will say they are.

i can get you genuine nike shox, for 30 quid.

Or you can even go to smithfield market in Manchester or cheetham hill and get em yourself, good excuse for a bit of a weekend away, some of the stalls sell the rip off's, well a lot do, some are genuine, but at that price I would say they are nicked.

But ho hum, better to put thirty quid in a market traders pocket than 120 in Mr Nike's.

The fact that you won a £110 trainer for £12.99 is enough to not buy them. Never seen that design either..

If you do still buy them, take a look at this guide.

Nikes are made in some sweatshop in the middle of Cambodia and fakes are made in some sweatshop in the middle..........

My dog could make better trainers than the ones I've seen going for 100+ in some shops. Then again my dog used to work in a sweatshop in Cambodia.

For what quality you might get, I'd take it up with him now sending those links and buying from a shop. My 2P.

The seller still aint answered thats never a good sign. So can i not pay him or what? I hate to do that but will ebay take the reason that I think their fakes? Have to ask the OH does he want them really he says not to buy until he answers. Still rather do what I wanted which was get them over here. Dont like the shoes he has picked either they look a bit hi tech brand to me. I bet the air bubble isnt even real.

was watching a CNBC report about Nike this morning, actually it costs then $20 to make a pair of nikes is vietnam and they sell them for $100 plus.

So i'd imagine they are not genuine which is pretty obvious if they sell for 12 quid so i think the seller assumes that the buyer knows ( he's not going to claim he's selling fake goods !)

Anyway, they look like a nice set of trainers, use em for going to the shops or something Rolling Eyes

Well if you think they are fake report to ebay, if not you have won @£12.99 with £8 postage. Postage seems a bit steep, but that is what he charges.

What have you to lose. Even a chepie pair are going to cost that much.
If you didnt want to buy them you should have pulled your bid, now if you don't pay you will get negitave feedback.

Might as well splash the cash and see what you get, once you have them if they really are fake then trading stds are a way forward along with PayPal and ebay complaints.
