Hopefully I'll breeze through the multiple choice (thats me jinxed it now!!) but the hazard perception seems so hit and miss that I can't say I'm looking forward to it! Wish me luck!!

Good luck

Try double clicking the emerging hazards to maximise your chances of hitting the scoring window.

Just don't click too often Rolling Eyes

Ok I was in he same position you are 2 weeks ago and I passed! i got full marks on the questions but I was bricking it over the hazard bit I even near took a panic attacks waiting on them to start the clips. I twice got 0 on clips cause It dosnt let you click to much but 5 on the rest, it was easer than the practice disc.

I think you will be ok its not as bad as you think and only you can say that when you pass it. It gives you a tutorial before and offers a practice.

Best of luck Karma Thumbs Up

You`ll be fine Thumbs Up

If you have been driving years try waiting a second before you click the button for the hazard, see if that increases your scores

I did 1 click when i first saw it, 1 when i was half way towards it, and 1 as i was at the point that if they did become a hazard i would have to change direction, seemed to work okay for me

It is working out what they class as a hazard, anything that will cause you to change direction or speed is a hazard.

You watched the DVD the letter came with? That explains it all quite well and at least gives you a clue as to what they determine to be hazardous

As Johnny Vegas said "you cant drive, everything is a *!#!ing hazard"

So if you are coming up to a bend you have to click Mr. Green

I think what you meant is if you have to change road position, it is a hazard.

Its not how fast you click its how many times. I learned that also. Think its about 8 times mine let me before I got a 0 warning. You should do fine they give you plenty of space in the hazard, my clips where so obvious like cars and people walking out looking the wrong way.

I did my theory last week. Breezed the multiple choice and was worried about hazard perception. The training bit tells you to click when you see a potential hazard and then demonstrated by clicking every time a person came in to view or a car came in to view. I just followed that and clicked every time I saw something moving! Obviously you can tell what the main hazards are too so click 2 or 3 times when you see the, and you'll be fine!

Anyway, good luck!!

Well I passed!!! It really was easy, but then I have been studying up with the official books, DVD's etc. I got 49 /50 for multiple choice and 60 / 75 for hazard perception. If anyone's sitting this soon I can't recommend the PC DVD ROM Driving Test Success enough (www.focusmm.co.uk) It was brilliant for revising!!

Now the biggie. The Practical. Got that in late April. Will keep you all posted!
