all seems a bit of a waste for £7200 when its probably going to get binned anyway!

I'm still deciding on what I'm going to do in September when I'm 17 - yeah I know its a long way off.

I would really love a GSX but I think it I would properly learn more on a 125cc.

i think that the artical is very true. The 33 bhp 600 is not a bad move to make but a cleaver move if you have the money. I wouldnt suggest buying a brand new bike though. id stick with the eariier modles such as a gsxr srad or 2001 model. Or an older r6 like me Very Happy As £7000 odd is far too much. Just buy second hand they are great gixxers, r6s,cbrs etc all going for £2000 -£4000 wayyy cheaper than the new ones

Indeed, buying a brand new bike to restrict is plain silly. But it's nice to have a proper review of a restricted 600cc sports bike!

I'm hoping to get an '01 CBR6f, which will need to be restricted Sad

surely if it gives full whack in neutral there will be a wire near the gear selector that "may" benefit from a bullit connector Laughing

So it's calmed down to 33bhp...

But retains the high CoG and over-powered brakes?

mmm That's a good first bike Thumbs Down

I think that sums the purpose of this thing pretty nicely.

Indeed, this is a rediculous idea.

I merely found it interesting that there is a review of a restricted 600, which is somehing a fair few people do / want to do, so to have an ouside review on it is good Smile

Restricting a brand new GSXR 600? why don't they just put 4 stroke oil in an RGV 500... Sick

That thing has to be the most pointless machine on Earth.
