Well its happened again!

The missus missed her appointment for the dr's and made me take her to her new one about 5:20pm today!

So off we went! had a cyclist come towards me in the middle of the rd we was going down not having a clue where to go.

So I waves him to the left of me. No problem! until I hot a pothole with only one hand! WACK!! throttle wide open up the pavement into a wall!

Mimumal damage thankgod, just the indcator and gearchanger.

But also the new fairing I put on the top. We ok, however cant move my right arm or fingers too good. Confused

Hey ste! we both got the same thing in common now. Broken the new body work we fitted!

I am glad that I didn’t.

a) Put on the brand new left panel I won off eBay a while back, as I knew something like this would happen!

b)Put on the brand new unused rear bodywork that I have just won off eBay.

c) Put on my new sub frame and fairing mount that I have just won off of eBay.

I am however, not glad that the rear bodywork I have just sold on eBay (ended bout 530 ish) is broken again! I will have to fibreglass it again before I send it to the bidder!

The amount of potholes around here has quadroupled. I gave myself a slow puncture today in a massive ditch on a busy road! it was more than a foot big!

At least you're ok though!

If you inform the council of this, ie where the pothole was and when it happened, they 'should' pay for a new tyre. They are responsible for the upkeep of the road and as such are liable because they haven't fixed the pothole.
And yes, I do know people that have claimed and been paid for this! Very Happy

Well I am glad it want any faster.

The last part of my journey to work / the first part home is on a road so terrible / potholed and has two groves in the road from ancient roadworks you have to be careful not to get sucked in.

Whenever we have heavy rain a lot of the road washes away and I have to phone the Highways people about the new holes.

You would think that as it is the road up to the station something would have been done by now.
