So, my OH brought a 125 NSR 2003
Done her CBT on an Auto (Been riding a 50cc Auto in Greece for years) But finally took the plunge to do her CBT here.
Passed no problemo now it was the time to hunt for a bike, Seen many - Some new styles that needed doing up which were well over 1k in value.
Settled on a 2003 NSR 125cc geared.
I, had the satisfaction of riding this little moto from Portsmouth to Brighton 2 weeks ago - It was fun, took a little while to down gear but to me, was worth it - cornering was great, and for 1k I think she got a good bike.
She has never riden a geard bike, been driving from almost 4 years so will take a bit getting used too.
Kat managed to get to 3rd gear on her road
Since then I fixed the gear lever (Too high - I was stomping to change the gears on the way to hers)
Since then, I sadly forgot 125's dont hold there battery charge too well and its gone flat tryed to bump it, and bump it and bump it - No such luck - until we got it in the shed, then I relised I might of had the kill switch on we were too knackard to try again lol.
But, shes a quiet one - Dont know if she will join, but I wanted to post that another female rider was on the road and I hope she trys her full test before Oct.
Meaning of this post is good luck baby and I wish you all the best when it comes to finally riding on your own |

For £1k that is a really good looking bike, I've seen NSR's like that selling for well over £1500 in the summer so, assuming the engines in good nick, you've done well.
There is an NSR's owners forum, there's a link in my signature, it's still getting going but there's plenty of advice on keeping them alive . ____________________ Past: 55 Sym Jet, 91 ZZR250, 03 NSR125R. Present: 97 ER-5.
