Basically im 18, got 9 points, paid 350 for my insurance not that long ago,had 1 accident when taxi pulled out on me from behind a van, hes insurance company paid for repairs, bike Honda NSR 125 had for year and a half.

Found this really sexy bike (https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KANGCHAO-MODELED-OF-HONDA-CBR-600-125CC-SPORT-BIKE_W0QQitemZ330215541005QQihZ014QQcategoryZ424QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I can value my bike in around £1050 , year 1999 , has around 23k miles, mot no problem just had new fork seals, new back brake caliper, and getting new front tyre monday.

Basically what im saying is has anyone got some more information about this bike from ebay coz it seems all too nice and price is only £999 which makes me wanna sell my NSR and go for that...

Thanks for help

Stick with the NSR. Will be the best decision in the long run.

That Chinese copy looks a fookin disgrace to the Honda's. Rolling Eyes

Im not bother about the speed with my 9points, i mean it says max speed 80kph im like WTF? But its a common crap on most chinease bikes and its not true, it does go faster. But what im thinking is is there is really something wrong with it to be so cheap?

It is made by slave prison labour in China, that is why they are cheap.

It lists CBR 600, which is amusing, because I seem to remember they weigh about as much as one, yet the ebay auction lists the top speed as half what an NSR in decent nick can do (80kph=50mph).

You'd have to really, really, really, like the looks to buy a 125 that has the top speed of a 50 with the weight of a 600.

It's cheap because, as mentioned, it's made with cheap labour and because it's not a very good bike generally.

Corrected.

Although it runs now there may be no guessing when it will break and die.

why is it cheap?

1. its chinese
2. it will last about a month before it breaks
3. its slower than a 50cc ped
4. parts will be a bitch to get
5. you wont be able to sell it on
6. its ugly

i would not go near that thing, your nsr is superior in every way shape and form.

i swapped 2fzr600's for a lifan125 07-plate 3mth old when i got it
within a mth oil was pi55ing out of the gear change rod...
(dont know correct name of it)
top speed was 45-50 and took 2days to get there unless you screamed the tits off it in 1st and 2nd

i ended up scrapping it on the 5th week

This exact model of bike was doing the rounds a few months back, there was even a youtube video of someone riding one trying to keep up with a real bike.

Needless to say it was pathetically slow.

If you want a bigger (but slower) 125, look at something like the Hyosungs.

rotf at those mirrors . .insane. The main problem with these chinky 4 stroke 125s is that they are so slow.. infact you will be the slowest thing on the road and will be overtaken by milk floats. I had one of the trial gy ones for learning on and it wasnt that bad. Nothing broke or fell off it in 1000 miles. Only thing I would of said was the paint on swingarm and frame was just like undercoat and they forgot to spray it and of course the main problem... tooooo sloooowwwwww.

they are not mirrors they are antlers, its so the guys in the big city can say they had a deer in the headlights.

if you buy it you will regret it.

keep the honda, in 6 months the honda will still be worth £8-900 that thing will be worth 10p, a dead frog and a curly wurly (if your lucky).

also if you want a slow bike to keep your license then just try controlling your right hand.. if you cant do that then you may be better off ditching the 125 altogether and getting a reputable 50cc moped that will hold value

Any sports-replica (and I use the term in the loosest sense) that has a kickstart is just gagging for trouble.

Underneath that fancy plastic you'll find a generic CG125 clone engine with all the reliability issues as anything else coming from cheap chinese factories. Plus it'll only have 12bhp, it's heavy and you'll get done by everything, even by 50cc peds and old people on vespas.

Keep the NSR, it's twice and fast and will last ten times longer.
