Well not really reflective things, more like glow sticks.

I have just been out the front of my house having a cig and I saw a biker go past, he had this think like a glow stick, but thinner and like a rope tied around his waist. It was really bright, so bright that when I turned all I could see other than the on coming headlights was that.

It looks a bit shit, but I bet every one could see him.

Any one know what they are called or indeed use them?

Are they a one use thing or do they have a longer life?

Stick them in the freezer and they'll be fine for the next day.

Was it a Krill lamp , or more of a string/rope type thing?

Like thick string, or a thin rope tied around his waist.

Sounds like glow wire to me

I think you can also get it in chemical form like the snap lights.

It looked exactly like that green wire on that pic, just as bright.
