I'd watch the number plate holder, they have a tendency to crack and split just below the rear light lense. Ebay will most likely find a spare, I'm sure I've seen the pic of it somewhere recently. But my memories like a sieve. Does look neat, could do with a polish.
Also noticed the seat converter, not the easiest things to get hold of... ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. Get some better happy pills, hit the gym & buy a medallion the size of a dinner plate. Job done |

Hi,
Thanks for the advice, i'll have a look and pick up a spare just incase, yeah it does need a polish. I do bits when i don't have anything else to do, but there's no point going mad on it yet until i have everything else done. Then it will get the best clean it's ever had, i don't think the previous 3 or 4 owners bothered much with it .
I need the bit of plastic the goes across the back of the seat above the rear light when you take the seat convertor off. I'm not sure what it's called but i'm finding it very, very hard to get hold of one. Any suggestions on places to try?.
Thanks
Vikcy. |

Hi
There are a few differences. Water bottle has a spout on the filler on the R, clocks are totally different, seems to be a difference in the switchgear (although suspect it is interchangeable).
They didn't bother with the bits behind the headstock as the fairing infill panels hid the water bottle on the R. The fairing infill pieces on the F are small, sort of like ears either side of the clocks.
All the best
