Hi,

Yes its a Kawasaki AR Very Happy one of the other bikes that needs rescuing from the shed, unfortunately i dont have the funds to do both of them.

I chose the ns125r and now the Kawasaki is up for sale.

So if you know anyone who's interested i need rid of it as soon as possible.

Very Happy

I'd watch the number plate holder, they have a tendency to crack and split just below the rear light lense. Ebay will most likely find a spare, I'm sure I've seen the pic of it somewhere recently. Confused But my memories like a sieve. Laughing Does look neat, could do with a polish. Wink

Also noticed the seat converter, not the easiest things to get hold of...

Hi,
There isnt alot wrong with it it was running fine, but main thing is its been sat in the shed for 7 years so its likely to have ceased in places.
I can get it out of the shed this week for you and take some pictures to let you see it as it is now, then you can make an me an offer on it if your interested and we can come to some agreement.
I'm in cleveland (teesside, noth east), your more than welcome to come view it if you wanted.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice, i'll have a look and pick up a spare just incase, yeah it does need a polish. I do bits when i don't have anything else to do, but there's no point going mad on it yet until i have everything else done. Then it will get the best clean it's ever had, i don't think the previous 3 or 4 owners bothered much with it Sad.

I need the bit of plastic the goes across the back of the seat above the rear light when you take the seat convertor off. I'm not sure what it's called but i'm finding it very, very hard to get hold of one. Any suggestions on places to try?.

Thanks
Vikcy.

Hi,
How much you looking for, for the Haynes manual?

I need a exhaust if you have one, my brother has lost the one for this bike Confused. If you have one how much do you want for it?. What parts do you have? It's probably easier you listing what you have as i need too much.

Cheers.

There's a fair few bits on Ebay right now and a few bikes being broken so I'd email the sellers and see if they can help you. Wink Not sure about a tail piece on top of the rear light, maybe former suggestion? or there's mine somewhere on Sheffield bypass heading toward york if you want to look for it. Laughing

Is it an NS125F or an NS125R that you have bits for? I am after a few odds and sods for an NS125F.

All the best

Not sure exactly what ive got, less than I remembered though.
Think its odds and sods like bar ends, brake caliper, switchgear...
Will have a look through later, no panels or anything.

Hi

Bits I am after are things like the small plastic trim pieces that go behind the head stock and other ones that go round the clocks inside the fairing. Only used on the F not the R (I have a crashed R for spares).

All the best

Keith

Mine was an R and I had the plastic bit round the ignition barrel, NSR logo on top of the clocks and the faring infills.

Took months of Ebay scouring and calls to breakers but I got them, if I find myself in a position to acquire anything back, I'll post but I don't think it will be short term.

I thought the F and R were just made in different years, are there any 'inner' differences?

Hi

There are a few differences. Water bottle has a spout on the filler on the R, clocks are totally different, seems to be a difference in the switchgear (although suspect it is interchangeable).

They didn't bother with the bits behind the headstock as the fairing infill panels hid the water bottle on the R. The fairing infill pieces on the F are small, sort of like ears either side of the clocks.

All the best

Keith

Few bits there, might be worth asking if they have any bits anyone needs. Not sure if they'll be that cheap though. Thumbs Up

Hi

Already got some bits from David Silver spares. But plenty is no longer available, including all those little trim pieces.

All the best

Ye i have a place for a new bike now with writing one off, and always wanted an AR 125. Pics would be great, and if you could get i running and see if you can hear knocks or whatever that would be great but the bore might befull of 2 stroke so take the plug out kick start it a few times to get out the 2 stroke of the cylinder then try an start it to make sure.
