I feel for you mate!
I looked out the window this morning and found the same thing Shocked , bike on it's side with the cover barely attached to the brake lever!
Luckily, there was no damage that I can see!
I have just stood her up again and fixed the cover. I seem to have lost a bit of fuel from the tank as well, and after a couple hours I'll check the levels to make sure they're OK.
Damned wind Mad .
I didn't go to bed till around 2 this morning and the bike was fine then! (but it was blowing like crazy ouside at the time).

i didnt fall over, it just got tyred and decided to lie down for a sleep.
be glad you dont have expensive fairings Very Happy

i found a bike on its side in town, the wind had blown it over, dont know how long it had been lying there , but people were just walking around it, ffs, i had to turn the bike around so the wind was pushing it on to the side stand instead of away from it, i left him a note, as he had cracked fairings and what not, havn't heard from him though

Define mint. Shocked Wink

Never put covers on bikes just for that reason, it also promotes corrosion at the bike can't dry properly with a cover on.

By some what of a miracle, my CB-1 didn't blow over last night.

My neighbours are getting rather cheesed off as we have a shared plant section between our driveways and when my bike falls over, it makes a nice bike shaped mess in the mud. And it crushes all the plants

Harrrrrr Laughing

I parked mine in gear then pushed it forwards against the compression so it couldn't roll forward off the stand.

Yup,that's what i do (not just when it's windy) but with this wind i have parked mine next to the back fence with rope to make sure it doesnt fall over.

But then,i read the weather reports,so i was expecting strong winds, and took preventitive action Laughing .

Is that bike a bandit 250?

It looks almost identical to the one i looked at a few months back from the gateshead area?

Was pretty gusty last night,

I live right next to a tyre fitters, so theres always a pile of used car/van tyres lying around, i use them to anchor down my cover during ther night, One leaning against the rear wheel and one pushed in to the left of the front wheel. And also the bike, when on the sidestand is leaning away from our wall...

Unlucky about the Bandit, do you have R+G/Crash bars?

It must've been very windy lastnight because somehow this morning the roof had been lifted clean off the dog kennel in my back garden, the entrance faces the rear wall so I've no idea how the wind got in and under the roof to lift it off and throw it into the garden.
