F*ck! My obs suck.

Coming home the other night a little after 11pm on the M77 pretty quiet so was making spirited progress. Came up behind an Astra in outside lane that was pacing the car next to him. Feeling brave I pointed the bike between the cars and opened the taps, flicked it back into outside lane and continued to accelerate.

At this point motorway goes from 2 lanes to 3 and is a 50mph limit. I was in lane 3 and I noticed the marked up 5 series traffic car in lane 1 when I was about 10ft behind him. Proceeded to hit the brakes yet still overtook the cop car like it was nailed to the ground.

I moved into lane 1 and they drew up alongside. Female cop in passenger seat looks at me as I look sheepishly at her, and gives me a look that says "dickhead". By this point my arse has gone and they're following me down the off ramp. I was waiting for the inevitable pull, but guess what?! Having tailed me through a set of lights they disappeared from view, so it seems my luck was in.

You lucky bugger! Dunno how you managed to miss a fully marked traffic car on an otherwise empty motorway though

Easily done Though i'm pretty convinced the volvo I went passed just happened to be on the inside lane blocked from view by something in the middle while I was in lane 3 therefore I never saw it. Never missed one since though.
