Whooo! Passed on my NSR 125 with 3 minors. So chuffed . Just waiting on the sale of this for my next ...me thinking nice rvf/zxr/r6

Ive just got a zxr so pretty much was in the same position as you, look VERY carefully when buyingm 400's as ive just been hit with a massivee bill for mine

Was the bill due to a mechanical fault on the zxr or a routine service? You 33 BHP'd yours? Whats your overall opinion of it? Sorry for all the questions mate.

Well, a new engine dosent normaly come into a new service
head over to zxrworld to find loads of info about them and plenty for sale, mine will be 33bhp when its on the road yes.
it dosent do much to the acceleration but it cuts the top end of the gears/speed. Seems like a good little bike, very nippy and the handeling is meant to be great too |

Ouch! I get the impression the zxr 400's aren't too reliable. May still opt for a slightly older R6 or gsxr . Have to wait and see. I'll have a look on that website too.

im sure they are reliable as any other bike if looked after, finding a good one is the biggest thingg.
Id stilll have an r6 tho  |
