Currently have a rust bucket of a 1998 W model (The Turkish one with the square headlamp unit). Took it for an MOT recently and passed it, but the guy said the rust on the swingarm was the worst he had ever seen (in 45 years) without being able to fail it!

I never thought I'd see tha day there was a CG appreciation Thread... But to be fair I rate CG's they are very sturdy and nice bikes, I did my CBT on an older model which thought was a bit of a nightmare to be honest, but my mate had a brand new CG last year and I got a good go on that, very nice.

P.S. I'd have a CG125 over a CBR125 any day Honest

What makes them a nice looking bike exactly?

There horrible! ok they might be bulletproof,but they cant be considered nice bikes surely?

I have allways classed them as a hack,something you buy if your not really into bikes,but need one for commuting..or to learn on.

They ride ok for a 4t 125,but there really ugly..

Think out of the box, look beyond what you see right now little boy and you will soon realise that they are beautiful! God damn i love them, my favorite are the Brazilian versions though but wow! Gorgeous fuckers, they handle like anything, are sweet rides and are indestructible.

I would happily buy one when I'm older as a commuter to get to and from work.

And maybe the CG buyers knew they were ugly too, or just have different tastes - I think 95% of what most people on here think is pretty generally just looks silly!
It's traditional to add stuff that will attract buyers that are interested in something similar to your bike .
